Internet + TV Hybrid is our doom?!
It seems more and more people are turning themselves into the next stage of video broadcasting, digital.
You can go to mostly any site for a TV station and find shows you can watch, some charge, some don't.
Switching to this way of watching some of your favourite shows sure seems to be more convenient, but I don't see myself switching over. I'd rather lie down being lazy with a drink beside me and the remote in my hand to watch whatever is on. I really don't think of it as a convenience for some people, aswell.
A lot of silly people don't find it easy to use a computer and some do, well most. It's becoming the computerized era, but well, I still say "No thanks, weak little baby screen," to my computer, and go watch TV.
As for news, now.
Different story, I guess it's easier. Things can be posted about any topic anytime. It's a nice idea having all the worlds latest stories at your fingertips. People who don't agree, I say to you "MOVE ON," we can't rely on channels to cast for an hour everyday 2-3 times a day for news. New things happen constantly, and if you miss something, it's always waiting in the fatty rolls of the internet, hiding underneath new content.
Aslong as we move forward into the future (which hopefully holds flying cars for us all!) the "digital" way of life is eventually going to be a necessity. So all those going "HUMBUG" for those compurized thingy's taking over the world! It'll happen eventually, so just keep fighting the good fight for laziness and maybe, just maybe, it'll prevail.

I agree completely with you Alex, Why sit in an uncomfortable computer chair to watch a show when you can lean back in a big lazy boy or sprawl out on your couch and watch your favourite shows at night? Same goes for your opinion on the news as well, and the Weather, checking the site to check if its going to rain is much faster then waiting on the local forcast to come up on the weather network channel.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you Brett. The future is an amazing thing! It's a computerized era like come the fcuk on!
ReplyDeleteI agree that watching T.V shows on the computer isn't the best way to watch it but I also believe its easier. Say if a family doesn't want to waste money on a cable bill because of the shows that are on it, they could just go on the internet and watch it for the same price.
